The Markazud Da’wah Wa Thaqoofatil Islamiyyah, Ile Ife Unit, Osun State has inaugurated new executives that would pilot the affairs for 2019/2020 administration.
The inauguration was done at Poplat Central Mosque, OAU gate in Ile Ife on Sunday.
Brother Abdul Muiz Awolumate emerged as the Coordinator while Sister Rahmah Alimi emerged as the Sister Coordinator.
Others are; Ibrahim Hassan(Asst. Coordinator/Dawah), Muthohhir Abdlhmeed (Gen Secretary), Sulayman Olayinka (Welfare Officer for brothers), Sodiq Lawal (PRO), Fatimah Musari (Asst. Sisters Coordinator), Khadijah Kolapo (Asst. Sisters Coordinator Dawah), Sofiyyah Abdlhadi (Welfare Officer for sister), Aisha Osunleke (Welfare Officer for sisters), Ameenah Abdulfatai (Financial Secretary) and Azeezah Dahud (Business Secretary).
According to the new coordinator in his acceptance speech, said; “……….I also appreciate the relentless efforts and bureaucratic doggedness of our past coordinators and their respective executives who did their best with the Vision of making this organisation a well established institution. I say Jazakumllahu khairan to you all.
“Having said that, I implore my fellow appointed executives to never deviate from the laid down path, as we should all know that calling to Allah, encouraging people to engage in good deeds and forbidding evil alongside establishing Islamic principles in our immediate society and in the world at large still stands as our goal.
“I would also want to resonate a fact to us all that regardless of our fore knowledge and previous encounters, the aim of this organisation is to produce great men and women that can be described as ideal Muslims.
“By default, this speaks to Muslims that are ready to practice Islam in its pure and pristine form, that would be ready to stand against Falsehood and promote justice and goodness among mankind.
“Almighty Allah says in suratul Al-imran Q3 Vs 110. “You are the best of people ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin goodness and forbid evil, and you believe in Allah….”
“Concurrently, It should also be made known to us, that MARKAZUD DA’WAH wa thaqofatil islamiyah remains an upright body that takes only from the Quran and the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) to be its manual. Hence, we remain a neutral body as it’s apparent that we will never for once consider any organization a rival or enemy.
“Brethren, am not the best amongst you. I’m human and i can fall into error, when that happens educate me. For believers are mirror for one another.
“I ask Allah (SWT) to help each and everyone of us to be a good brethren and most importantly an envoy of Allah. Aameen.”
