No fewer than Muslim students from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), University of Ibadan (U.I) and other Muslim students from various tertiary institutions in Southwest have applied for the Qur’an competition organized by Dpath To Jannah Media Hub.
In a statement on Saturday signed by the Head of Islamic Affairs of the Media Hub, Ustadh Mutohhir Abdulhamid said that the registration for the Qur’an competition has closed on April 22, 2021 and the submission for the Qur’an recitation start on April 24, 2021 and will end by May 1, 2021 at exactly 11:59pm.
“For those in class 1, they are to drop video of themselves reading Suratul Maryam verse 75 – 97 to 08076182449 on Whatapp.
” For those in class 2, they are to drop a video of themselves reading Suratul Luqman verse 12 -19 to 08076182449 on Whatapp.
“For those in class 3, they are drop a video of themselves reading Suratul QÃ f verse 16-35 to 08076182449 on Whatapp.
” All applicants should ensure they close their eyes while reading the Qur’an. They are also to note that the submission start on April 24, 2021 and will end by May 1, 2021 at exactly 11:59pm.
“Applicants are free to ask for more clarification from each group they belong to,” he said.
