All roads lead to Osogbo as thousands of Muslims in Osun state is set to attend the camping programme organized by the Standard Bearers Islamic Organization (SB), Osun State Chapter.
The camp which will start on Friday, 24th December at Laro Middle School opposite Government house in Osogbo and end on Tuesday, 28th of December 2021 promises to be a positive life changing experience for all intending participants.
A glance through the program as received by our correspondent shows spiritually filled, thought provoking and highly educative lectures that span through different fields of Islamic knowledge such as Tafseer, Fiqh, Hadith, Arabic Day, IT Seminar, Islamic civilization etc.
This year’s December camp will be graced by a lot of renowned scholars such as Sheikh Dhikrullah Shaffi, Sheikh Qamrudeen Ballo, Dr. Abdulhakeem Abdulateef (Hon.Yepe, former commissioner for Home Affairs, Lagos state), Dr. Shuaib Osunleke, Ustadh Abdulwasii Ahmed, Ustadh Nawawi Thanni, and host of others.
Aside spiritually uplifting lectures, the camp will also feature sporting activities like soccer, table tennis etc. Qur’an competition, debates, singles seminar, cooking competition, private counselling sessions, book exhibition, vocational training session on fish barbecue are also part of the activities lined up for this camp.
Married delegates will also have the opportunity of partaking in marriage seminar while on camp site.
A major feature for this year’s camp are the Capacity building courses on data analytics and Pro Class Modules on Cakes and Pies.
The camping will also also enhance networking opportunity by allowing Muslim youths to get to meet peers and front liners in their chosen career and other things that interests them.
Our correspondent learnt that the registration fee for the camp is pocket friendly at flat rate of #3000 for secondary school students, N4,000 for undergraduates and N4,500 for others.
The theme of the camp is “Pathways To Peace” and all arrangement is set to have a hitch free camp.
