The late Chief Imam of Ilobu Land in Osun State, Sheikh Mohammadu-l-Jamiu Bello will be buried today by 2pm.
In a statement by the family of the deceased, the late Imam will be buried at Ibigbami’s compound, Oke Oja area in Ilobu.
Recall that the Imam died on Saturday evening after a brief illness.
Sheikh Bello became Grand Imam of Ilobu in the year 2005 and his tenure has witnessed several transformations in the administration of the Mosque and the leadership of the Muslim community in the ancient town.
He succeeded Imam Tohir Ojawuro, who died late 2004.
