The Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar III, has declared Monday, January 23, as the first day of Rajab 1444AH.
The Sultan had earlier called on all Muslims in Nigeria to look out for the new moon of the Rajab 1444AH.
“The Sultanate Council Sokoto has declared Monday 23/1/2023 as the first day of Rajab 1444 AH,” Yahaya M Boyi
