The Standard Bearers Islamic Organization (SB), Ife Branch, is set to host its 3rd edition of the An-Nadwa Annual Scholars’ Colloquium on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at Enuwa Central Mosque, Ile-Ife.
The event, which will begin promptly at 10:00 am, will focus on the theme “Modern Business Transactions in the Light of Qur’an and Sunnah.”
The colloquium aims to address contemporary issues related to business transactions within the framework of Islamic teachings. Some of the key topics up for discussion include:

- POS Business Transactions
- Forex
- Tap Swap
- Multilevel Marketing
The event will be chaired by Alhaji Adam Adisa, CEO of Proslam and Progreen Investment Nigeria Limited, while Sheikh Abdus Sami’ Abdul Hameed, the Chief Imam of Ile-Ife, will serve as the Spiritual Father of the Day.
Distinguished speakers for the program include:
- Dr. Ismaeel Kolawole Yunus – Lecturer, Department of Islamic Law, Crescent University, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
- As-Sheikh Abdul Ganiy Abdul Haadi – Mudir (Principal) of Mahdul Furqan for Arabic and Islamic Studies, Mushin, Lagos State. He holds advanced degrees in Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) and Usul Fiqh from Sudan’s International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).
The colloquium will be hosted by Malam Hassan Abdul Fattah, SB Ife-Ife Coordinator, with Dr. Maroof Orewole, PhD (NACATEM, OAU), serving as the anchor for the program.
