The ongoing genocide of Palestine by Israel backed by the US and co has exposed the real state of mind of the world. As such, we have seen and noted those on each side of the divide. There is no third option, either you support the oppressor or the oppressed.
Either way, history will not forget you, and you will be judged accordingly. Trying to defend or support both sides is an act of cowardice. Only a slave does that, to appease his master. A spade is a spade, though it looks like a shovel.
However, as you pick a side, remember this: Religiously, morally, economically, politically, socially, culturally and otherwise, this issue affects us all as a common human race where our shared humanity is a focal point. If it was called apartheid in South Africa, why are you shy to call it out in Palestine? If it was colonization in Africa, why is it different in Palestine? If it was genocide by Hitler, why is it not genocide by the Zionists? You condemn Putin for occupying, but commend Netanyahu for another occupation. Foolish logic!
Demonizing Hamas is not the solution because Hamas did not start the conflict in the beginning. Bombing Gaza is the craziest thing to do. You can only kill the flesh, you cannot kill the spirit. The real issue is the theft of land supported by the international community.
You cannot be here and there at the same time, pick a side and be responsible for your choice. However, things are bound to change. Life is not a straight road. Tables turn, the bush meat may catch the hunter. Palestine is winning already as the enemy is battling for survival despite the skewed advantage it has. Real victory is not by military might, but by the faith and belief in the mission. The world has seen the truth for itself, not what the enemy and her collaborators display.
The issue of Palestine is that of the truth which is like oil. No matter the amount of water you pour over it, it’ll always float. As we say in my part of the world: “When the drum beats too hard, it is about to tear”. So, ride on Israel together with your coconspirators, but your defeat and humiliation is imminent. We will see who will blink first.
As you wear your bias with pride, remember that if you do not stand up for justice, you will not get justice. Palestine will be free from the river to the sea.
