…..Urges Muslims To Sustain Their Eeman
No fewer than 500 Muslims gathered at the renowned Ife Central Mosque, Enuwa, Ile-Ife as The Muslim Congress (TMC) Ile Ife chapter, Ile-Ife on Saturday organized her annual Ramadan Lecture.
The annual lecture with theme “Sustaining Your Eeman in a Disruptive World,” was a positive life changing experience for all intend in participants.
Apart from various dignitaries that graced the occasion, Islamic organizations such as Ansarudeen, Faith Center FOMWAN, Ta’awun and others were also present.
While delivering lecture on the theme of the occasion, Sheikh Abdulhadi Abdulganiy, a distinguished scholar in Islamic jurisprudence, discussed the procedures Muslims must take to sustain their Eeman in this distruptive world.
He emphasized Islam’s pivotal role in navigating the challenges of today’s disrupted world,narrating Allah’s recognition of Muslims as the best among humanity.
Discussing with the congregation, he noted that the first step to sustain the Eeman, is to learn Aqidah from from the reputable scholars.
He also urged the congregation to embrace the Quran and make it their companion. He as well gave guideline to relate with the Quran and they are as follows: Learning the Quran, reading the Quran, reflecting on its meaning and using it teachings in ones life.
He also noted that indulging in good deed and refraining from sin is a very good tactic to sustain the Eeman.
He, however, said the muslims should use the opportunity of this month of Ramadan to pray for the Palestinians.
Corroborating, the Chief Imam of Ife, Shaykh Abdus-Samii Abdul Hamid, commended the efforts of the TMC towards developing Islam in Ile Ife.
He, therefore, urged Muslims to always remain upright in the pursue for Islamic development in the ancient city.
Dignitaries like Prof. Jimoh Faride, Faculty of Agriculture, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Prof. (Mrs) L.M Durosinmi, Department of Chemistry, OAU, Dr. (Mrs) S.O Adesunkanmi, and scores of Islamic scholars, Imams, others attended the event.
