If only you could see it from our eyes,
How the war is downsized,
How Israel is in disguise,
Spreading all its lies,
How the United Nations decided to compromise,
On the thousands of lives that have been lost.
If only you could see our pains,
The pain of losing family members,
Their bodies dismembered,
A notorious year to be remembered.
If only you could taste our pains,
The pain of watching our young die,
Their tongues have gone dry,
With nothing for them to eat,
What have they done wrong?
If only you could hear our pains,
The songs of birds, replaced by bombs,
With all the cries,
One can recognise,
That everyone around is traumatized.
If only you could smell our pains,
The smell of bodies that are piled up, waiting to be buried,
The smell of blood stains remain,
Even the rain can’t wash them away,
Despite all the heartaches,
Our faiths in God shall remain.
If only you could feel our pain,
Watching our loved ones die in agony,
After they have been killed brutally,
While the world watches all the insanity,
If only you had humanity.
But in this surreal ordeal,
We choose to raise our zeal,
By repelling the stealing of Gaza,
And retrieving Palestine.
But to some,
This is called terrorism.
