More details have emerged about the imminent commencement of the temporary cease fire between Hamas and Israeli occupation force.
Speaking early on Wednesday, the Qatari negotiator said the timing for the start of the truce would be announced within the next 24 hours.
Israel may have delayed the start to give time for its Supreme Court to hear a challenge to the deal raised by a group in Israel are against the truce. They believe too much concession was given to Hamas. A negative court ruling is however not expected to derail the deal.
An Egyptian source said the truce could start as early as 10 a.m. (0800 GMT) on Thursday.
International Committee of Red Cross will implement the truce
The International Committee of the Red Cross will work in Gaza to facilitate the release of the hostages, Qatar said.
The hostages are expected to be transported through Egypt. Egypt shares a 12km long border with Gaza. The Rafah Border Crossing however is the only crossing point between Egypt and the Gaza Strip.
During the truce, trucks loaded with aid and fuel are expected to cross into the besieged Gaza Strip where 2.3 million people have almost run out of food, fuel and water. Apart from the delibrate destruction, many Gaza hospitals have been shut down in part because they no longer have fuel for their generators.
