Israel said it dropped 6,000 bombs on Gaza amid a mounting Palestinian death toll. This has lead to large-scale devastating infrastructure and human catastrophe in the Gaza Strip
US Secretary of State Blinken voiced unwavering support for Israel during a visit to the country, where he met with Prime Minister Netanyahu. The European Union had followed suit with all of them promising Israel of all needed support

Israel has called up it’s reserves in preparation for a possible ground invasion of the Gaza Strip. Israel has already informed the UN that 1.1 million Gaza residents need to leave the Strip in 24hrs. About 300,000 Israeli soldiers are now stationed near the Gaza Strip. Israel Defense Forces international spokesperson Lt. Col. There is no guarantee that displaced Palestinians will be able to return back to their homes. It has been postulated before that that Sinai can be an alternative homeland for the Palestinians. And even Jordan. The present situation seems to be a perfect excuse to implement this. Israel has promised to exact a response that will be remembered for generations. Analysts have also warned about using this excuse of humanitarian refuge in Sinai to close and end the Palestinian question, to solve the demographic problem in Gaza by getting rid of the population.
Israel already declared a “complete siege” on the Gaza Strip on Monday, October 9, cutting off electricity, water, food and fuel in response to the deadly Hamas attacks in Israel. Already, the 16-year blockade had already posed severe restrictions on access to safe drinking water, mobility and electricity use in Gaza. This “complete siege,” ordered by Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant, will cut Gaza off from resources completely.
Under United Nations statutes, the collective punishment of a civilian population is considered a war crime. However, Israel has never been punished for violations of UN statutes. In response to the siege, Hamas has threatened to kill Israeli hostages without warning. The Islamiat group has taken at least 150 Israelis hostage so far.
