After a lot of mourning, Mrs. Ibrahim was buried according to Islamic rites. Aisha is now an orphan Subhanallah!!
She(Aisha) has no family to run to except Allah. Her family has neglected her since the demise of her father. Aisha had no choice than to live with her mum’s best friend, Umm Nusaybah.
After three weeks of staying with Umm Nusaybah, her mother’s relative that she planned to live with and work as a maid before came to her and decided to take her along to Lagos. She arrived and talked to Umm Nusaybah to release Aisha. She said she will take good care of her and also sponsor her education.
Umm Nusaybah is not willing to release Aisha but she had no choice than to release her. Umm Nusaybah called Aisha to one corner of her room and told her some words of advice; “Aisha, May Almighty Allah be with you ” said Umm Nusaybah. “Aamin, thanks ma’am” replied Aisha.
“Aisha, you know you are no more a kid. You are old enough to differenciate the wrong path from the right. Your relative is here to take you to Lagos. Please Aisha I want you to know the daughter of whom you are. Don’t keep bad company and be prayerful. I pray to the most high and the most beneficient to be with you ” she said feeling pity for her
“Aamin, Jazakumullah khoyron ma’am. I really appreciate your effort” she said and began to cry uncontrollably
Both Umm Nusaybah and Aisha began to cry. After some minutes, Aisha got prepared and she was taken to Lagos by her mom’s relative.
