A new public opinion poll conducted by Dpath To Jannah Media Hub has revealed that majority of Muslims rated the governors in Southwest very low and unsupportive to the needs of the Muslim community.
It is noted that it is expected of any governor of a state to always address the needs of the religious communities, either Christians, Traditionalists or Muslims..
Part of what is expected of any governor to do for the Muslims or Muslim community in his state is to ensures religious freedom, legal protections, promote social welfarism and many others.
However, in a poll conducted online on the Whatapp platforms of Dpath To Jannah Media Hub and Muslim Brethren which serve as the most populous Whatapp groups for Muslims in southwest shows that majority of Muslims rated the governors in Southwest very low and unsupportive to the needs of the Muslim community.
According to the poll with the question “100 Days In Office: Who among the governors in Southwest will you rate best in supporting the needs of the Muslim community?”, more than 80% of the votes show that no Governor in Southwest is rated best in supporting the needs of the Muslim community.
