Under bright blue skies, clouds drift by,
Soft winds caress, and gentle whispers sigh.
A beautiful scene unfolds, a heart full of cheer,
A smile on every lip, and joy that’s clear.
With calm and peaceful steps, we make our way,
To the place of worship, on this special day.
Submission and faith, in every heart and soul,
Certainty that our Lord, is pleased to make us whole.
Believers gather, dressed in modest grace,
Smiles and laughter, fill every face.
Friends and family unite, in joy and delight,
Admiring each other’s beauty, in the morning light.
Chorused chants echo, a melodious sound,
Hearts filled with praise, and love that’s found.
The Imam’s voice leads, in perfect harmony,
“ALLAHU AKHBAR ” resounds, a call to prayer’s symphony.
A symphony of faith, in perfect unity,
The congregation follows, in devotion and humility.
The sacrifice is made, with reverence and care,
A ram’s life is given, to show we truly care.
A sharp knife, a swift stroke, and its life fades away,
A sacrifice to ALLAH , on this blessed Eid day.
Greetings and wishes, are exchanged with glee,
“EID MUBARAK” rings out, in perfect harmony.
A day of celebration, a day of delight,
A blessed day to experience, the joy of Eid Al-Kabir’s light.
