The Prime Minister of Spain, Pedro Sanchez has revealed his plan to embark on a European tour to rally support for recognition of Palestine as a state.
It was gathered that the government spokesperson of the country made the announcement.
According to the statement, “Sanchez is planning to meet the leaders of Norway, Ireland, Portugal, Slovenia, and Belgium in the coming days.”
“Madrid has vowed to recognise the Palestinian state before July, but it hopes more countries will follow its lead.”
“Our goal is clear: drive forward the recognition of the Palestinian State in a key moment in which the conflict is entering a decisive phase and when the conflict is being discussed in the United Nations,”
