No fewer than five students of Tenderfoot Path Islamic Academy, Ile Ife, have excelled themselves in the award ceremony organized by the Standard Bearers Islamic Organization.
It would be recalled that SB conducted her annual scholarship examination, included Mathematics and English Language tagged ‘Career Mentorship Program’ (CMP 2023) for over 700 Muslim students who are in SS3 across the country.
The award for Ife Zone was held at Ile Ife Central mosque at Enuwa in Ile Ife on Sunday, 27th January, 2024.
Two students of Tenderfoot out of the six Muslim students made the merit list of the WAEC Scholarship having scored 70 marks and above in the screening examination. They include, Shaib Mariam Fikewa who was second position with 78 marks and Awotide Toheeroh Ajoke that took fourth position with 72 marks.
These two students who made the merit list were each given a payment of 25,000 naira with an award of participation. The female wing of the Standard Bearers Organisation, Ife, have also promised the two young female students additional 10,000 naira and 5000 naira respectively.
Also, three students of Tenderfoot out of the 11 Muslim students made the honour list of the WAEC Scholarship having scored 60 marks and above and were given each payment of 10,000 naira with award of participation.
They are; Sarafadeen Barakat Adeshewa (66 marks) and Misbaudeen Zaynab Adeola (64 marks).
Tijani Taqiyyullahi Ayomide (58 marks), a student of Tenderfoot out of the 13 Muslim students who scored 50 marks and above were given award of participation and textbook of their choice to prepare them for the upcoming examination.
The national leadership of the SB therefore presented academic excellence award to Tenderfoot Path Islamic Academy, Ile-Ife as the most outstanding school of the National CMP 2023.
