A former senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Shehu Sani, has congratulated to the Government of South Africa for her success in the genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice, ICJ.
According to a statement, in his X handle, on Friday, Shehu Sani expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the Republic of South Africa on their victory at ICJ.
He said, “I wish to extend my congratulations to the Government and the citizens of the Republic of South Africa for their triumph in the genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice. South Africa has demonstrated itself as a global moral leader, and history will recognize you as champions of international law and justice.
“The people of Palestine stood by Africa during the Anti-Apartheid struggle, and today South Africa has reciprocated that revolutionary gesture.
“Supporters of Apartheid, colonialism, occupation, and the tragic events in Gaza are now put to shame.
No nation should be exempt from adherence to international law and justice.”
