The Career Mentorship Programme 2023 scholarship examination of the Standard Bearers Islamic Organization will be concluded this weekend across several centres across the country.
The scholarship examination which started last weekend, October 7th and 8th continued this weekend with candidates from Abuja, Ondo , Iwo in Osun state and Kano States taking the Computer Based Test.
Our correspondent gathered that overall over a thousand students took the screening examination.
Speaking to our correspondent on Saturday, the National Cordinator of the CMP, Dr. Mogaji Ibrahim, explained that Board of Examiners of the Standard Bearers will meet on Saturday 28th of October to ratify the results and candidates will have their results available from the 29th of October via the respective state branches of the Standard Bearers.
He further stated that all candidates that sat for the screning examination will soon be invited to a seminar tagged “Meet your Mentors “.
He said, “This program is designed as an empowerment and capacity building programme where enrollee of the CMP will have the opportunity to meet professionals from different walks of life. Candidates are to link up with their respective state branches for further information on date, time and venue of the program. It promises to be a life changing experience for participants of the CMP.”
He further expained that it is at this program that the dates for the CMP 2023 scholarship awards will be announced.
It will be recalled that the Standard Bearers organises yearly CMP program to give WAEC/JAMB scholarship to indigent but brilliant Muslim students across the federation.
Thousands of students have benefitted from the program since its inception in 2017.
