As a little girl, I was born in an Islamic home and I am able to differenciate right from wrong. I am twelve years of age. I’m the only child of my parents. I lost my father years ago In a ghastly motor accident. Since then life has became unbearable for my mum and I. I was unable to further my education because there’s no one to cater for my tuition. My mum and I work hard everyday in order to earn a living. Life goes on like that for both mother and daughter.
Actually, my name is Aisha Junaid. I attends Sunnah Grammar School. My mother, Mrs. Ibrahim is a petty trader and I always help her In her business. My lovely mother in her late thirties looks beautiful, pretty and charming. Since I lost my father, my mum and I have been living a miserable life. We hardly eat twice in a day. For this reason, my mum decided to handed me over to one of her relatives to work there as a maid in Lagos. This relative happens to be a Kaafir ( a non muslim) .
Having been informed of this, I cried and cried a lot but I had no choice than to accept or else we would starve of hunger.” Aisha, it’s not my pleasure handing you over to work as a maid in a non muslim house,(crying) but you know how the situation is, you need to endure just for a while. Remember! Almighty Allah says in the holy Quran” After hardship comes ease” said Mrs. Ibrahim. Ummi! Did you remember the person you are handing me over to is a non muslim. How did you want me to cope with him” said Aisha still crying profusely.
