Congratulations and jubilations have been on social media as the Deputy Director of Physiotherapy, OAUTHC, Ile-Ife, Alhaji AbdulWasiu Jimoh(ARAFAT) was recently conferred with Fellow of the Nigeria Society of Physiotherapy (FNSP).
It was learnt that Alhaji AbdulWasiu Jimoh who is popularly known as ARAFAT was confered with the fellowship award on Friday, 14th October, 2022 in Enugu state.
The award which is the highest and most prestigious award of Physiotherapy in Nigeria was awarded to Alhaji AbdulWasiu Jimoh for his selfless service and support in advancing the cause of the Physiotherapy Profession and the Society at large.
Present at the award was President, Nigeria Society of Physiotherapy, Dr Nnenna N. Chigbo and her members of EXCO, Chairperson, MRTBN, Dr Umo Udom, Registrar, MRTBN, Dr Olufunke T. Akanle, Past Presidents of NSP, Dr Felix O. Faniran, Dr Taiwo Oyewumi and other dignitaries.
Recall that Alhaji AbdulWasiu Jimoh has always demonstrated leadership capacities and high level of professionalism in every his dealing.
He is the Chairman, Establishment Committee of Nigeria Society of Physiotherapy, Director, Arafat Islamic Centre, Vice President of OAUTHC MCICS, Ile Ife and member of UNIFEMGA, Ibadan. Other eminent Physiotherapists conferred with the FNSP Award along with him are Dr Saliu G. Akinwale, Director and Head, Department of Physiotherapy, Unilorin Teaching Hospital, Ilorin, Kwara State and a former NSP Secretary, Dr Olaniyi Oladire, Director, Head of Department, Federal Medical Centre, Owerri, Imo State.
