Alh. Imam Dr Sheikh Yunus Omogbemi, the prominent Chief Imam/Missioner of Ansar-Ud-Deen Society, Osogbo branch, Osun State, is dead.
In a statement signed by the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society, Osogbo branch secretary, Alh. Musa Ademola Bello said the Chief Imam died today, Thursday.
The Islamic scholar has been buried at Ansarudeen cemetery, Sabo, Osogbo by 4:00p.m.
According to the statement, “The entire members of the Ansar-ud-deen Society, Osogbo Branch regret to announce the demise of her branch Imam/ Missioner Alh. Imam Dr Sheikh Yunus Omogbemi who died today Thursday 16 of June, 2022. Burial will take place at Ansarudeen cemetery, Sabo, Osogbo by 4:00p.m
“We beseech Allah’s forgiveness over all his transgressions and grant him Aljanah Firidaos. Amin.
“We pray Allah be with all he left behind and grant the entire family, friends and the Society the fortitude to bear the great loss. Aameen. “
