Mr. Mubarak Ayinla Owolabi, one of the missionaries of Nasrul-Lahi-l-Fatih Society, NASFAT, in Ilesha who is also the AG. Secretary of Mission Board of NASFAT in Osun State has condemned the killing of a student of Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto, Deborah Samuel who was burnt by irate youths in Sokoto.
Deborah, a level-two female student, was accused of making a social media post that blasphemed the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW), a crime for which a mob killed her.
The horrendous event led to a great outcry, especially on social media outlets, with many Nigerians condemning the act and asking that law enforcement agents ensure that the perpetrators do not escape from the long arm of the law.
Joining many in their call for justice, Mr. Mubarak Owolabi in an interview with Dpath To Jannah Media Hub said that jungle justice is Haram in Islam.

Can you please introduce yourself sir?
Mr. Mubarak Owolabi: I am Mubarak Ayinla Owolabi
Can you tell us more about your family background?
Mr. Mubarak Owolabi: I was norn in the early 80s in Ejigbo, Ejigbo Local Government Osun state. I had my primary and Secondary schools education in Ansarudeen, Ejigbo. I had my first Degree in Economics Education from University of Ibadan and my Masters in Educational Administration and Planning from National Open University of Nigeria and I had my Arabic Education from Nasirudeen Arabic institute, Mahad Rooji Arabic Institute and Mahadul Hadabi all in Ejigbo, Osun State.
Barakallahu fihi. What do you do for a living?
Mr. Mubarak Owolabi: I am basically a Volunteer Teacher and a wholesaler of Pure Honey.
I also sell Goat and Ram most especially during Ileya Festival. I give sermon 10:30am every Friday at Unique F.M Ilesa.
I have a registered business name ‘MUFADEEL MULTI SERVICE’ where I operate the aforementioned under it’s canopy and also operate Hajj and Umurah Service.
How have you been propagating Islam?
Mr. Mubarak Owolabi: Well, I started propagating Islam right from Primarily School. Then in Ansarudeen primary school Ejigbo, as young as we were, we organized Ramadan Tefsir and other things like that.
I could remember a day I was shocked by electricity during the process of the arrangement.
I participated fully in MSSN during my secondary school days and during university. I was one time Naibul Amir Nasfat Ilesa Branch.
Also, Youth Amir Nasfat Ilesa Branch,One time Acting Secretary Nasfat Youth Osun State, PRO Nasfat Ilesa Branch management, Assistant Secretary Nasfat Youth Wing Worldwide and Head of Dawah Nasfat Youth Wing Worldwide.
I am presently one of the Missionaries in Nasfat Ilesa Branch and the Ag. Secretary for the entire Mission Board of Nasfat in Osun State.
What do you hate most in life?
Mr. Mubarak Owolabi: I hate cheating.
What do you like most ?
Mr. Mubarak Owolabi: I like obedience to Allah and his Prophet. And kindness to humanity.
What do you use to spend much of your time doing?
Mr. Mubarak Owolabi: I use it to do Jihad in the way of Allah and counseling people especially marital counseling. I so much engage in pre marital and post marital counseling.
On the issue of alleged blasphemy that is currently trending in Sokoto, what is your view on it?
Mr. Mubarak Owolabi: Firstly, the matter need to be investigated to know if there is no motive behind it.
And whatever the case maybe, juggle justice is Haram in Islam even though blasphemy is wrong. But if we decide to be killing everyone like that, who will now accept Islam?
The prophet was stoned at Toohif to the point that the Angel descended to ask him whether to destroy them, but the prophet kept on begging on their behalf, that if they refuse, their offspring may accept Islam. Today, the people of Toohif cry so much for the mistake of their forefathers. So Islam is the religion of patience.
What is your advice to the Muslim youths?
Mr. Mubarak Owolabi: The youths need to be patience and steadfastness. They also need to be seeking more knowledge of Islam.
